Can I hire furniture for just one day?
Absolutely - we can even deliver and collect the furniture on the same day if you want. However, our minimum hire charge is for one week's hire - so it's the same price for 1 to 7 days.
Can I hire furniture for longer than a week?
Yes - whether you want to hire furniture for one day or three years, we can assist you. What's more, the longer you hire furniture for, the lower our weekly prices become.
Do you offer long term hire? For example, for over 3 months?
Yes - we can offer very competitive rates for long term hire. Please contact our sales team on 0344 567 5744 for further details.
Are your prices excluding or including VAT?
The prices shown on our website are excluding VAT.
Do you sell your furniture?
Unfortunately we do not sell our furniture.
Where are you based?
We have depots in London and Manchester.
I only want to hire a few items of furniture, is there a minimum hire charge?
We do have a minimum hire charge, which is dependent on where you want your furniture delivered. Simply complete an online quote on our website to see whether this will affect you.
Do you offer charity discounts?
Furniture Hire UK has worked with many charities over the years. Whilst we can't promise that we will be able to offer charities a discount every time, we will always do our best to help. Please speak to our sales team for more information.
Do you charge a deposit to secure an order?
We require full payment to secure the stock for an order, unless you have a credit agreement with us.
Do you charge a holding deposit?
If you are hiring as an individual (i.e. not as a company), then you will be charged a holding deposit which is based on the value of the furniture you are hiring. This will be refunded when we get the furniture back.
If you are hiring as a company, then we may charge a holding deposit depending on the type of event the furniture will be used for. Please contact our sales team for more details.
Is your furniture brand new?
Due to the very nature of our business, our furniture is not brand new. Nonetheless, we have strict quality control processes to ensure that all furniture we hire out is of high quality and fully functional.
How much furniture do you have in stock?
We hold large quantities of furniture, so whether you want to hire 100 or 10,000 items, we will try our upmost to fulfill your requirement. If you are looking to place a particularly large order and want to check stock availability, just contact our sales team with the dates you need the furniture for and we'll let you know if we can help.
I want to hire an item which isn't shown on your website
Most of the items we hire are shown on our website. If, however, you are looking for something specific, please contact our sales team and we will do our best to help you.
I need to know the dimensions of a product
Our website contains dimensions for all of our products. Simply go to the product, and you should find a 'Measurements' section. If you have any problems - just contact our sales team.
I need to hire furniture right now. Can you help?
We do offer same day and next day delivery, subject to availability. Call our sales team as soon as possible if you have an urgent requirement.
Do you deliver and collect outside of normal working hours?
Yes - our transport team works 7 days a week. Weekend deliveries/collections may incur additional fees and there are surcharges for deliveries outside of working hours. Complete an online quote within minutes to confirm weekend delivery/collection pricing.

How much does delivery & collection cost?
To get an idea of how much delivery & collection will cost, please use our postcode checker, which shows the minimum carriage charge for your area. Our carriage costs increase according to the weight of the order, so for an accurate price, please complete an online quotation - it only takes a few minutes!
Can I collect the furniture from your warehouse?
Unfortunately you cannot collect direct from our warehouse.
