A Grade II listed building renovated in 1986 to offer huge exhibition spaces just miles from the City of London and the West End.
Finding venues with character, space and all the convenience of being located close to London city centre without the expense of the congestion charge may not be easy to find, but you get all this and more if you choose the Business Design Centre for the location of your function.
The Business Design Centre looked a little different when it first opened in the 19th Century as a space for agricultural exhibitions. Over the years, the venue has been a popular place for lots of different functions, being used for dog shows and even as a sorting office. Today our furniture hire London customers get very contemporary spaces that offer a large number of rooms, and offices for conferences, training, shows and many other events.
If you simply wanted office space on a longer term basis, then this is possible too, with our long term furniture hire rates proving an economical way to stock your premises with stylish and modern items, including modular desks, office chairs and pedestals.

Delegates coming to conferences appreciate being able to get to venues easily and companies sending them like to ensure journeys are affordable too. The Business Design Centre is a fabulous choice for our conference furniture hire clients that also want functions with great travel links. This venue is located close to tubes stations and the bus network so travel should be mostly trouble-free. As well as being situated next to lots of modes of transport, delegates may also prefer venues that are located in vibrant areas - which the Business Design Centre definitely is!
This venue is located in the heart of Islington’s shopping and entertainment area, with the centre’s website highlighting how over 500 cafes and restaurants lie close to the function space. This means that visitors to the complex can enjoy some of the varied food, drink and entertainment on offer when they are attending functions at the Business Design Centre. What’s more, even if delegates wished to travel to the City for further meetings or catch a show in the West End, they’d only have to travel about two miles. This shows how the centre offers the best of the city, but can save you money as you won’t have to worry about the congestion charge.
