Windows were also replaced with floor to ceiling glass so views to the sea are uninterrupted.

Some big names regularly appear on stage at the Brighton Centre, including household comedians like Lee Mack and in the distant past, performers like Bing Crosby. This shows how well designed the Main Hall is for large events, with a 4,500 capacity for conferences and a 5,100 for standing concerts. It’s ideal for large conventions and can also be used for banquets and receptions. Other large rooms in the centre include Hewison Hall and the East Wing.
The bigger of these - Hewison Hall - can accommodate 640 people standing and 600 in theatre-style seating for conferences. Because seating isn’t fixed in this room then the location can be designed by you for your individual requirements.
