We can’t wait for this Saturday because we’re attending an award’s show as a Company of the Year nominee - and we’d like to thank all our customers for helping us get this far!
The Big Four-O
Every year the Hire Association team up with the Event Hire Association to host this amazing event, with 2015 being its 40th anniversary. This Saturday night, representatives from our Furniture Hire UK team are going to don their best suits and get glammed up for their third Hire Awards Of Excellence show, which recognises great performance in the event rental services sector.
We found out in February that we’d been shortlisted for the EHA Company of the Year category, and we’ve been eagerly awaiting this weekend to see who will be named the winner. We’ve been nominated alongside two other companies in the industry, and we’re looking forward to enjoying the event at a top London venue.
Valuing value...
The EHA look at a number of different factors, such as staff training, the values of the organisation and how procedures are applied when they’re shortlisting and considering the winning companies too. We always try and make sure all our customers have an exceptional client experience, by getting them the furniture hire items they need at the time and place required. As every event is different all our customers have unique needs, and with regular staff training across all departments and the technology to back up our team members, we aim to deliver on our promise of impeccable customer care for every order placed.
There are lots of other categories that recognise excellence in the hire industry, such as Equipment Supplier of the Year and Service Provider of the Year, among many others. As well as entire companies being considered as winners for categories, so are individuals within businesses, such as the Workshop Manager of the Year and the Apprentice of the Year. These varied categories mean that both entire companies and the people that help drive them forward get their chance at being named the winners.
Third time just-as lucky?
This will be the third time we’ve eagerly awaited the awards show. In 2011 we were overjoyed to be named the Best New Business, while in 2012, our marketing manager Lisa was awarded the New Starter of the Year and the Hire Achiever of the Year, culminating in an all-expenses paid trip to a company in Texas to sample the US event hire industry.
We’re going to be among some fantastic companies in the event industry this weekend and bringing home the award for Company of The Year would be a great recognition of the effort we put in to develop our business.
