Next day deliveries in action
Although we call this swift service ‘next day’, quite often this means we deliver just hours after a client has ordered items. On this occasion, our customer contacted us in the late afternoon, 4pm to be exact and requested 175 modular rectangular tables at the 1800mm size - and we delivered them to the city venue by 9am the following day.
Our next day deliveries are perfect for those occasions when our customers need table hire products and other items from our range at the last minute. Common reasons why our clients urgently need rental furniture could be because they’re expecting lots more visitors to their event than previously expected, products they own have been recently damaged or perhaps they simply realise they don’t have enough seating or tables. Sometimes events have been arranged quickly event managers couldn’t plan their furniture needs in advance.
A transport network that delivers - UK-wide!
We make sure we meet next day delivery targets by relying on our UK-wide transport network and by having large stocks of product available. This particular event was being held in a stunning seaside venue, and because we have depots across the UK, we’re able to transport our goods to any mainland Britain destination the day after our customers place orders, which enabled us to deliver at 9am in the North West, even when the order for our hire tables was only processed late the previous afternoon.
It was very important that this customer received their items at a particular time, so they opted for an additional feature of our delivery system. We offer timed deliveries, which allow our clients to specify when they’d like us to arrive with their order, which is very convenient when there are parking restrictions for example, or customers are working to strict schedules and need items at a specific time.
Large stocks for last minute orders
Having large stocks of products is a great advantage, because we’re able to meet last minute orders for larger batches of furniture. For this particular function, up to 25,000 visitors were expected to attend the location, which was holding an annual exhibition. Because we have spacious warehouses in several UK cities, it was no problem at all to load up our lorries with the 175 modular tables and get on the road.
These products make ideal surfaces for exhibitions, product launches and shows, because they are made from 25mm melamine, which is very sturdy. The light oak finish results in a very professional appearance - perfect when customers want to showcase their products in a smart way.
Rapid deliveries - and set up
Another really useful feature of our table hire range, is that many of our items can be installed or collapsed in seconds, because of their folding leg mechanisms. This means our recent client could take delivery of these products and get them set up rapidly and in time for the opening of their exhibition. When customers require help with furniture set up, then they can request this at the time of booking and our experienced delivery team will install our products, then remove them when the event has finished.
